Does this tell me how many treats my dog should get?
No. It only estimates cost from the routine you enter. Use the product label, your trainer, or your veterinarian for guidance if treat amount affects diet, weight, or training.
What if I do not know the average treat weight?
You can divide package weight by the approximate number of treats in the bag. If you only need a rough budget, use your best estimate and adjust later.
Why include treat days per month?
Some dogs get treats every day, while others mainly use treats on training days or walks. Treat days makes the monthly estimate closer to real behavior.
